OTOH it seems fairly clear that at the moment there is more of a problem with cruelty and terrorism coming from radical violent Muslims, then from other religions.

You seem to ignore the cruelty and terrorism coming from American and Israeli soldiers. Because someone wears a uniform, its alright to torture and terrorize?

I'm not one to bash the whole religion with the acts of its worst members, and that includes Islam. There are a huge number of non-violent, reasonable, followers of Islam.

But its radical fringe is quite large and violent compared to many other radical fringes, and the earlier posts implying no difference between the religious right in the US (or at least its more radical elements) and say Al Qaeda, or other violent radical Islamic groups where not reasonable.

It only looks "large and violent compared to many other radical fringes" because that's what our gov't and the media want us to believe.
