It took what, five generations for that to begin happening in earnest?

OK. So?

A Pasreal peace proposal would also take plenty of generations to reach the level of equality between the Israelis and Palestinians that the USA has today between descendants of slaves and descendants of slave owners. 100 years doesn't bother me. It's the likelihood of success that counts. The current route hasn't produced peace for 60 years, and I don't think you ever are going to get Muslims to accept Jewish sovereignity over Jerusalem as a long term peace plan, which is the current route.

Five generations is just a drop in the time bucket as far as the Holy Land is concerned.

Using that logic you would have doubted that black descendants of slaves cannot exist peacefully with descendants of slave owners in America, but they do.

Good point.
