I think playing the "competent professional" is more important than playing the most articulate. IMHO a lot of people are not all invested in all these issues, they just want somebody that can efficiently run the government. Now that might include not starting "inefficient wars".

I figure Hillary and Gulliani have the upper hand on perceived competence; Obama on articulate.
