From what I am able to gather by looking at some of my grandchildren, the trend is now to ride the wave that the boat makes & be able to continue to ski after throwing out the towing rope; besides making pyramids of skiers or to ski on bare feet, etc.,( which I first saw at Cypress Gardens some 55 Yrs ago) .<g>
