He did a show with Paul Simon in NJ about 5 or 6 years ago. They did a couple of songs together but basically it was two separate show. I love Paul Simon but it wasnt one of his best. Dylan came out and played what for lack of a better word would be called rockabilly music. Cowboy hat and boots. There was no break--went on for about an hour an a half. My son was there and finally became a dylan fan. I think what i like about dylan most is that he is really apolitical. He sings more about life, situations, generations that partisan politics. There is as much in his music for moderates like me. I loved the fact that he never got on the preachy folk bandwagon back in the 60s and he so forever pissed Pete seeger and the self righteous do-gooder legions off.
