Well its going to be hot in the metals today...

Big over night gains in Silver and Copper...gold up over $3..It'll be a fine close to the week if these prices are maintained through the close. Up 8.5 cents for Copper...and I heard it was going back to $1.50 a pound from very reliable sources...Who knows about Uraniums...they might get side stepped here for a while as their players run around looking for junior miners that will double from here with production light years away...

My feeling on Uranium is that there will be a blow out in the next couple of years as demand is seen to swamp supply in the early part of the next decade and speculation in the metal itself lifts it to almost unthinkable levels...a 1980 Silver type of thing. There will be a huge parabolic in the metal and producers long before the real supply demand cruch occurs in the next decade. Now I am bias...long a basket of Uraniums, trying to hold on...most of the sales I have made to date have been surpassed on the upside...Crammer I hear is out promoting uraniums now and guess what...EMU on the NYSE is his pick...

Might very well be a BIG GREEN day...but be cautious following strength...Net Commercial Short positions have to be running up to hisoric levels on an absolute basis if not on a percentage to open interst. I'll be selling when the public small specs in Gold are 5:1 long....was a major top before and they are into the fours currently.

I certainly didnt mean my post to be insulting to the U board, I read it all the time and I own some Uranium juniors myself.

Its interesting watching the board rankings and it will be interesting to see how it plays out regarding the U stocks. Of course you should not ban the newcomers lol then I wouldn't be able to notice all the new bookmarking activity <g>

Regarding U rising from $7 to $85, Oil rose from I think $11 to 78. All in all these are just observations on my part.

Should there be any concern with Cameco possibly making a positive report regarding Cigar Lake in March?
