Well, your young un is experiencing it with a church group. That sounds like a lot of angels will be "going before them to protect and prosper"...nothing to worry about!

When baby girl was a Senior; the band took a trip to NYC. I went along as chaparone. 7 girls weren't to "breathe" without me.
Well, we took a walking tour and stopped at Wall Street. I, of course, was amazed and walked across the street to take some pictures, touch the exchange building, etc. Guide decided nobody was interested and took off. My kiddos didn't give a 2nd thought to me not being with them...and one of them was MY OWN KID!

I went back after our 15 mins and nobody was there. I got stranded on Wall Street. Needless to say, I panicked. This WAS NYC...a scary place! Then, I took off running to find them. When I did? Oh my...that panic came out as unadulterated "terror based" anger!
"Did you not even notice I wasn't with you??????"
LOL! I wasn't as "hooked up" to the whole angel thang back then!!!
I "couldn't" (rare occurance) speak for over an hour. Missed a beautiful church and Chinatown. Seriously. Wasn't funny then (to me)...it is now. Oh, and those girls? They didn't stray without me again!!!

Baby girl has since spent 9 months alone in Australia; no chaperone. Those "little ones" do spread their wings; that's fer shure.

Ok...so have I lost the grub yet????

Anyway, it's good to see the little ones<G> spreading their wings and experiencing some of the fun stuff of growing up."""""

Yes... but... that 'parent' feeling comes into play no matter what age. E had one across the world for awhile; we have one in Guatamala right now... just you wait... it's exciting and you've set them free and know they are in the hands of the Lord, and that parent thingee crops up inside you... Love never dies.. :)
