Me and the boy, find it fascinating. Usually it is one of us drawing the ire of one or both of the females of the family.

But I remember my wife and her mom going around like this at a very similar age about 30 years ago.

My how things that go around, come back around. Again And Again.

When mine turned 18, I removed their curfew. Other than that? They still had to abide by the rules and one of those was "honor roll or no keys". :)

Funny, once that curfew was removed? They made earlier nights. They didn't want to stay out later...they just wanted to NOT be under mom's thumb!
