I realize I am in charge of my emotions and it is up to me to control them and not waste negative energy because of my reactions to others and their actions. I'm not perfect at letting things slide, but I am MUCH better now than in the past.. True. It helps to know from Whom our peace flows. :) I married when I was 18 and started a family when I was 22. I knew nothing about nothing; yet we survived. It dawned on me that by 22, both of mine had graduated college, been all over the world & were heads and tails smarter than I ever hoped to be at their age. If I could do what I did and survive...they fer shure could run their own lives at the same age! That realization was like a flood of peace in all of our lives. Now...instead of "forcing" my opinions, etc on them...they come to me asking for it. Man, what I would give to have had that with my mom starting in my 20's. Ok, Dr. E needs to get on with her real job...TODAY!!!
