gov't grant tax incentives for solar energy than subsidize the oil industry.

False alternatives. That's like saying I would rather have a broken arm than a broken leg.

What we are really doing is subsidising sunbeams and windmills while we attack the people who really bring "power to the people," the Big Businesses who go out and find the gas, coal and oil we depend on for our civilization.

And no, reducing a tax on an oil company is not a "subsidy." If you think "Big Oil" is making too much money, compare their rate of return to a lot of the "go-gos" that we love so much. Then compare the money the oil companies make to the tax they pay. Then ask yourself; "who is providing a bigger service for me?"

The next time you flip a light switch or start your car, ask yourself; "who provides this to me, and am I thankful to them that I don't live like like my great-grandfather did, without these conveniences?"

You will find that you won't be thanking your Congressman or a civil servant in DC.
