<< Israel must be "wiped off the map" >>

That would sure negate the Bible.

If I wake up this afternoon and my radio sez Israel has been disappeared, I'll get up and make my coffee and chat for a few hours on the net. Then, I'll probably go get some firewood, start a fire, and cook dinner (on the stove). My creek will still be flowing, the birds singing, the grass growing. My kids will still love me. I'll still have a job to go to on Thurs. My solar panels will still be working. I'll still say "next year in Jerusalem" at Pesach and light candles at Chanukah, just like always. In other words, it's Israel's problem, not mine. I live in the US.

And I'm fairly confident they can handle it. If MAD doesn't deter Iran, then Israel will take them out, and, maybe the Big Black Block in Mecca, too. That would impact world oil, but, hopefully, I can deal with it.

So, waking me up when they get missiles is probably a little early. Let me know 5 years after they get one. If China, Russia, India, Pakistan, and North Korea haven't gone at each other and caused nuclear winter. If that happens, I need to get up right away and go out and buy some grow lights so I can feed mice elf.
