well, intruders do help with the feed bill.......

I hadn't planned on another dog. But I found out that I had a peeping tom, it is a really creepy feeling to know that someone is peeking in your windows to see if you are dressed or not.We almost caught him one night and the police showed up 45 minutes after we called them and said we had peepers and prowlers and flashers and burglars in the neighbourhood. The police seemed unable to catch them but now that there are more dogs the fascination seems to have disappeared. The people who live behind me have a wee lab, he is pretty small about 70 pounds. And the two of them go out together on patrol. My yard is 320 feet long so there is room for the peepers and things to get a good run, two doors down we have a pair of Dalmations and then every 2nd or 3rd house has one or more often a pair of dogs. Even the flasher we had some problems with seems to have given up.
The police have talked a lot about their success controlling crime in my area. I am so glad they are on the job.
