The good news out of Iraq isn't supposed to be about the US military winning honors, it is supposed to be the emergence of an peaceful, secular Iraq that is able to govern itself.

Who gave the MSM the right to be the sole arbitror of what the good news is supposed to be, to the extent of suppressing and distorting all other news that might reasonably be construed as good, for example, US troops winning a major victory against the enemies of a peaceful, democratic Iraq?

It's as if the press had decided in WWII that the good news was supposed to be the Allied invasion of Germany, so the Allied invasion of Africa and Italy was therefore bad news.
