I know tons of people with IQs higher than mine, mostly folks like you who during college did a lot of damage to their brains through drug use. I talk to them now, and they seem dumb though they at one time had superior mental horsepower. As in your case, it's been wasted.

We all have the capacity to hone our minds much like Ahnold honed his body. It's the desire and the persistence that's lacking in most of us. Someone with a moderate IQ who reads, analyzes, and thinks consistently and with application is going to develop a far more reasoned view of the world than someone who lets his gifts atrophy, with or without chemical aids.

While you were blowing off gray cells on pot, LSD and Grateful Dead, Crichton was honing his mind. He still hones it, you never did. He writes, he studies, he thinks; by the quality of your posting it appears that your intellectual muscle has atrophied. The post to which I am responding proves it.
