Re: ALZ.V -- Condor, I believe the political problems keep ALZ.V share price low so far. As stated on this board before, West Australian voters have long been loath to allow U mining, their State government (be it Liberal or Labor) won't want to go against the flow, and the Federal Government cannot overrule the State Government's policy. Also, not to forget: West Australia is in the midst of a long, big boom in natural resources (iron, copper, zinc, nickel, gold). Workers are earning very big pay checks, and are difficult to come by (it's impossible to find s.b. to man the counter at a small town's fried-chicken place; they're gone to the mines). Nobody with 2 hands and 2 feet, willing to put up with the rigors of the desert climate, needs uranium for their daily bread. For now. Thus, although even the federal Labor party is leaning toward U now, U mining may not happen in West Australia very soon.

alz.v - it's been standard juniors stuff that's been ruling the day for Aldershot recently, imho, financing effects - there were a million .30 warrants that expired yesterday [actually expire tomorrow but 23rd their last trading day] ... no doubt all were exercised

I was buying alz this week, got quite a few now ... was planning to make a comprehensive post on share structure, hope to later, meantime here's the md&a of 22Dec, note how there are 1.8m .41 wts expiring 18Apr - aldershotresources.com

Roughly 38.5m outstanding now, 10.5m options and warrants combined, makes f.d. 49m .... that's a quick and dirty estimate, check the arithmetic ... [assumes that the 1m .30s were exercised, which i think is logical and no doubt the cause of bid-whacking last week]

Anchan and Globe are exactly correct on all points imho, at the same time what i'm hearing is that WA will open up eventually, and when it does the exceptional property Turee will drive alz.v real well ... meantime they are not idle, there is a good possibility that they can promote the share based on activity in Quebec and/or Zambia and/or Northern Territory plays

One other factor - note how for three years running alz has lagged through much of the season and then made a fine ramp heading into late march - could that be a habit it will maintain, well we shall see eh - stockcharts.com
