It sucks when you're trying to sell a book, but it's fantastic when you're buying! :)

Absolutely. It's great for the collector! Used to take weeks, sometimes months, to find a book you wanted. And still, your choice was limited

not in reference to books, but i will tell you that i had an EXCELLENT opportunity while buying an item on the net recently...

i have a particular type of sunglasses which i like extremely well...they are very hard to find even in designer stores....the average price is $240 to $280 a pair....

well, i lost my last pair and decided to google for the product (since they are not available locally where i now live)

i found them on ebay, and bought 2 pair for less than a third of the cost for one in a retail outlet like saks or NM....

ain't the internet grand????

:)
