1947 was a long time ago as you and I both know. Heck I was not even born then, and my dad was a soldier for the british empire in WW2. Times have changed, thought processes need to change.

consider implementing your plan in Kashmir. Kashmir was a country under the british empire whose king agreed and signed a document to become part of India when the brits left. entirely different ballgame.
