In other words.. The absolute costs to SIRI of the Stern deal was NOTHING! Actually, SIRIUS has made a gain of will over a Half a Billion Dollars on Stern. Stern works for FREE for SIRI and XM is picking up the tab!!

Keep telling yourself that as Sirius reports a billion dollars + in losses this week, making the total two billion in two years.

Of course, now that the two companies are header for a merger, than in my opinion will never happen.

I think it won't either. Hopefully.

SIRI will start working with XM's OEM's to design and integrate dual band receivers into their cars in 2008/2009 model years. So if the whole deal get's a pass by the DOJ or the FCC. It is plausable that SIRI will get it's radio's into XM's OEM pipeline.

XM's contracts with Honda, GM, Toyota and Nissan are long-term, and intact if the deal doesn't go through. There isn't much that can happen to change that. After 2013-2015, we'll see.

The one thing XM did right during this time was to get new OEM contracts in place with Honda & Toyota.

Of course, you would never want to let facts get in the way of your bull.
