Hillary shows me some backbone on the democratic side.

I'm with Geffen: the Clinton's, like all pols, lie. But they do it with uncommon ease and gusto.

Unless I see Hillary as someone who is not defined by careerism and opportunism, I could not possibly vote for her. I think that is the essence of the objections against her. Those are difficult hurdles to jump over and are the reasons I think she won't be nominated.

I think Barak has the Dem nomination in the bag because (a) he has no baggage and (b) he seems genuine and charismatic. Plus, he has a genuinely compelling life story. Finally, he is a fresh face in politics, and the voting public is exceedingly tired of the same old stuff being thrown at it.
