The longer he doesn't run, the longer he can still be Gore. Unspun, unadvised, unpolled. I think Clark didn't announce until Sept last time, and he still did OK, starting from nothing. Gore can get more money, an entire organization, and all the volunteers he needs in about 5 hours. Don't know when the deadlines are for getting on the ballot, but he can just have fun and laugh at everything now. The statesman, called to duty by his country. Way cool.
