"Must have been up in the Ruhr area around Cologne?" Didn't make it all the way to Cologne. And I wasn't commenting on traffic density, just that most of what I saw were smaller cars on the road. Now there was an occasional American style minivan, along with a sprinkling of larger cars, but not many of either. Driving the autobahn was exhausting. Keeping track of the current traffic rules was difficult as they were added and subtracted at what seemed to be every couple of kilometers. Even if it were allowed, you couldn't jut set the cruise control and leave it.
