Not very bad long term results. Nice trade relationships, no domino effect, no monolithic communist block, and a country beginning to listen to me when I tell them to go renewable. Or one guy is listening, at least.

If you worry about Nam, help out Mannie...the kids might come from the 10 Lost Tribes.

I think getting INTO Vietnam was the mistake - leaving was the correction. Just as it will be in Iraq. Many will die due to Bush's Iraq mistake - but many already have.

Veitnam is our peaceful communuist ally today, just as in the future, the Isalmic Republic of Iraq may be.
