I've often wondered whether or not that safety helmet bikers are required to wear doesn't create somewhat of a hazard in itself. What does a full helmet do to visibility or hearing?

You mention your motorcycle just about enough to get my motor going in that direction again. Spring is coming.... and.... I have a few bucks just sitting there... and... sigh...

I think we need less legislation and more personal liberties. The people that use that freedom to screw themselves should live with their decision. Law doesn't teach - it draws a line at the absolute bottom in the decision making process. Why start at the bottom? Our culture used to be better than that
