I probably am a true bleeding heart. I try to temper it with common sense and approach things pragmatically. But I admit.....life has been extremely good to me...and I'm drawn to candidates and political parties that have stated goals of improving the world. HOWEVER, at this point in my life, I mainly support the Democratic party because I think it has morphed into the party that will REALISTICALLY prosecute the war on terror and will restore some kind of FISCAL SANITY to government.
