Israel doesn't need the Golan Heights for its water, they need it for its wine! Great Cabs, "Gamla" is one of them.

Israel has plenty of water under the occupied West Bank.

The Golan, is the high ground on the Israeli/Syrian border. Its a strategic position.

That's another benefit to the Golan Hts. That doesn't change the fact it has water too....a scarce commodity in the ME.

I hope you are not telling me that the above justifies Israel holding the Golan Hts.
