It's not the carbon credits...it's food, water, energy...as in Beer shortage due to lack of barley, as in food for fuel, as in tortilla riots in Mexico, as in gas riots in OPEC member and now oil importer Indonesia.As in ocean fisheries crashing. All compounded by what changes GW brings; drought, desertification, land loss( 50 Mil Bangladeshians live within 36 inches of sea level)
My own hunch is that this will not be the Chinese Century, due to energy (actually, all resources) limitations, and we will hang on. And lots of people will die in our lifetimes...may well end up with 3 billion people; my son thinks one Bil.

In other words, Malthus will be laughing at us.
