Sounds like the fall of Saigon was relatively peaceful, and we know that lots of the ARVN soldiers defected to the North, or simply melted away from the army of the South, so it isn't as if they were committed to defeating the North, which is why (I guess) Vietnamization didn't work out so well.

I found one unattributed source saying that *maybe* 80k political prisoners were killed.
