News for 'XMSR' - (=DJ House Telecoms Panel To Hold Satellite Radio Merger Hearing) By Corey Boles Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES WASHINGTON --The House Telecommunications Subcommiitee said Tuesday that it will hold a hearing next week into the announced merger between Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. (SIRI) and XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. (XMSR), Rep. Edward Markey, D-Mass., said. Speaking at a National Association of Broadcasters conference, Markey said the committee would examine all aspects of the proposed tie-up. The hearing would be the second by a House committee into the merger.
