You know,I've been maintaining this was all about oil, or empire and oil, to a lot of my friends who say Zionist/Israel is the prime reason. You're sure doing your best to convince me I was wrong and they were right.

Once again you display the sterling quality of your argument.

Does that mean you no longer support sending troops into Darfur, now that you know Sudan has oil? Were you opposed to genocide only until you discovered that an oil-rich Islamist regime was committing it?

Look, we are facing a long war with Islamic radicalism, a perfectly stupid idea which has infected much of the Muslim world.

Your lot doesn't want to fight it. They just want to pose as if they were fighting it (but never for more than 6 months), when they aren't starting to agree with the Arabs that the Protocols of the Elders of Zion are true historical documents and those poor Muslims are just reacting to the Jewish conspiracy to control the entire world.

When you start with the basic premise that everything is always and only America's fault (except for Israel as the "little Satan"), that America is the only morally responsible actor in the world, the only maker of independent decisions, you naturally get drawn into these incoherent positions.
