It doesn't seem you were able answer that question for me or yourself. You are showing me that if you were that person you would continue talking about Christians from his Anti-Christian perspective and knowledge base.

Wow...now that's a supposition, as you're indicating that you asked me something that I was responding to....uh...NO. But ok, I'm not afraid to engage here, so let me try to answer your questions directly since you appear to be dissatisfied with the contents of my previous message. You ask:

If someone attributed things to Christianity and described Christians only from a perspective in which they had been fed anti-Christian information, would you think of them as a valid spokes person. Would you listen to them? Do you think you should be listened to by them?

the first part of your question---would you think of them as a valid spokes person.

A- valid spokesperson for what? I can say, that if I thought they were coming at it from a blatently Anti-Christian perspective, I would be more interested in educating them as to what's "real", then playing a game of "what if's".

the second part---Would you listen to them?

A- if I chose to be involved in the conversation, of course I would. I may not agree with them, but it's pretty much impossible to have a CONVERSATION if you are just planning on LECTURING.

the third part---Do you think you should be listened to by them?

A- of course...what would be the point of the conversation if not?

As far as "your excitement to tell me how good your religion is"...I think it's you that missed the point, as this wasn't my intention. I mentioned my personal perspective just so you would have an understanding of my background that I bring to the conversation. And I mention the contrast between the two religions because it was you that first brought up this unfair hypothetical:

if a person made all kinds of proclamations about the Christian Community in America based on the data they collected about America having higher statistics than almost any country in the world for rapes, assaults, murder, robbery, sexual perversion

The fact is, none of that is acceptable in Christiandom, and you won't find people that claim it as part of Christianity, whereas there are many, many, examples of heinous acts where the perpetrators (and the people that send them out there) attribute their acts to Allah/Islam and/or Sharia (sp?) law.
