Keeping it really, really simple. 2007 Financial Outlook Kosan's outlook for 2007 excludes any potential collaborations, strategic alliances or financings Kosan may conclude this year. The Company anticipates that cash and investments used in operating activities will be in the range of $35 million to $45 million. I tend to agree with this simplified approach. At this stage of the game the cash burn is the only financial parameter that really matters. The rest is noise. It seems that the money they recently raised will be just enough to keep them going for a year. Erik
