VaR, Value at Risk, an old banking term. I have talked about this for years, even before the dot com bubble, back to the Long term capital debacle.

Obviously all the big shots have forgotten how to apply VaR to
their holdings.
VaR is a base principal that all of these over educated so called genius quants ignored, and now look where we are.

Simply amazing.
