Dan: I had one of the best days of my life at Snowbird yesterday. We had nearly first tracks in Mineral Basin and the hike up to the top of Mt. Baldy was oh-so worth it. Skiied 'til close and caught the last chair. Powder up to my thighs in some areas and face shots a-plenty. A day to remember, for certain...

I did not go up today..

They need to get that Gad 2 lift working ASAP..

If you're going to be in town for a few more days and would like to go moonlight cat-skiing lemme know... one of my roomies grooms Snowbird at night and all he is asking for is a 12-pack of suds.

Thanks to everyone who replied on Kicking Horse.

The terrain does look excellent and hopefully the snow conditions will be good when we visit. We skied Island Lake Lodge and Fernie a few years back and we are looking to repeat that awesome BC experience.

Tough to leave Utah this past Sunday with all the extra snow they are getting, glad to hear somebody is gett'in it!!
