Like, if we'd continued our sanctions against Iraq instead of invading.

But it's hard to imagine it would have been WORSE than the ruinously expensive, bloody, totally fubar cock-up we're in NOW.

Maybe, maybe not. I've noticed the pattern to lefty logic that says "if only America hadn't interfered, everything would have continued just as it was, so much better."

Just like in Tibet. No war. There is a nice train from Beijing to Lhasa now. Chinese people are doing well economically in Tibet, as long as they aren't from Tibet. It's really nice, for everyone other the indigenous people (who are no longer Tibetan, they are now Chinese citizens, lucky them) that can't seem to keep up with the Chinese....
