Hawkmoon- I agree with most of what you wrote, however- "The rest is due to people like GZ and their threats of nuclear annihilation of the Islamic world, or the belief that the US is waging a Christian crusade." I have a real problem with that. I would say that you are actually repeating what a jihadi recruiter might use as a tool, but the reason for their desire for global dominance and to eradicate us has nothing to do with what we DO, more, it is what we ARE.
