C2 was hype, long before Intel realized any "financial benefit", about the time the shares moved (modestly) on speculation.

From the look of their earnings and MS they are still missing those financial benefits, aside from stock market speculation.

The fact is, Doug, AMD only needs 10% IPC improvement to have the fastest dual-socket server CPU, by over 50% in floating point, but also in integer.

And do you really think Barcelona will stay stuck at 2.3 GHz?
