Joe, the analogy of an electronic share of stock to an electronic dollar bill was to illustrate, as Bear Down pointed out, we are talking about the applicability and necessity of ledger entries. It was not intended to compare stock supply with money supply. Just so you know, I don't consider when hedge funds like Crestview Capital Partners short against a stock placement to be naked shorting. I never liked it when "everyone did it" years ago and I don't like it now no matter what it's called. - Jeff
