Liver would not be complete without potatoes.

I've never prepared it at home, but I order it whenever I find in on the menu.

LOTS of ONIONS and BACON.

Never had it with balsamic..

Gosh, that's about the way my mother used to fix liver. I just loved it, the more onions the better. My wife never wanted to fix it, although she liked it to eat. We had to settle (still do) for The Black Eyed Pea for liver. Every once in a while the Country Buffet will have fried liver and onions. I go for it in a big way. Safeway deli sells great chicken livers (and gizzards) and I buy them when I see them.
