And I am only posting this because I only buy warrants as an investment on companies with solid fundamentals.

Today I got back about 80% of what I lost yesterday, and a good part of that was BWR warrants +14%, EDR warrants +11%, and SST warrants +10%. I am already so far up on the RNG warrants I didn't mind them not gaining today.

Of course, NMB -- check out this one poised for what could be a big breakout -- and CUU, BMC, etc., did their part.

I guess I am a little confused as to why there was any controversy at all.

If we take the board title at face value, it suggests that posts relating to precious metals juniors are topical.

Doesn't say that posts have to relate to stock or anything else.

As far as I could tell koan was pretty specific in addressing thread topics.

His filter happened to be warrants, and there is apparently a lot of interest in them as a way to invest in Gold and Silver Juniors.

Not sure why there should have been any issue at all.

Pretty sure he must have seen it that way too.

With the frequent admonishments for off topic posts for politics, global warming and other vital, but pressing, issues I can see why an admonishment for what seemed to be topical posts was irritating.

Hope he reconsiders.

A lot of my current portfolio is in securities that koan identified, including a healthy slug of Rio N wts, which seem to be doing exactly what he said they would do.....

Yes, a bit thin-skinned about it, wasn't he ... didn't like being told what he could or could not say, fancy that ... still, a good deal of his non-politics typing was more or less speculation-related, some even made sense imho, the odd thing once in a while, a fairly decent average given community standards ... more to the point, some made me money, and some of what made me money did happen to be on [prohibited noun deleted]s ... your call Tom, but i think the knee bone's connected to the, thigh bone, the thigh bone's connected to the, hip bone ... meanwhile back at the ranch, i'm lost in the Good Ole Days -

stock. I wouldn't mind seeing them get off their butts and do
some P/R. It's a great stock but im beginning to wonder about
when management will take a more pro-active approach.

It isn't like koan to be so touchy. He usually seems to take being disagreed with or even blatantly contradicted in a good spirit. This scary market puts everyone on edge a bit.

I think everyone here either already misses or is going to miss Koan at some point. This is cyberland people, no one poster would know the other if they met them on the street so it's easy to cast negative judgment on another at will. What some here don't realize is we all spend most of our every day here on this thread informing each other for the collective purpose of financial gain for everyone here. This is by far one of the best boards i've seen in a long time and one of the largest contributers here has been Koan. A little friendly banter on warrants? Why not? I see recipes being traded, vacation destinations and so forth. I for one (being a junior trader) have learned untold amounts from most of you and back in my academic years I learned untold amounts through debate. It is not my intent to ruffle any feathers here but to merely broaden the horizon. I for one would sure like to spectate such a debate where warrants (options) are concerned...Dave
