Re: "I'm tired of being pushed around"...

...AMD said it expects to ship its 690G graphics chip set in commercial volumes within 30 days. The company launched the product on Wednesday.

So the 690G was still paper launched after being delayed for many months, and the RX690 remains MIA? Great way to show everyone how AMD is prepared to push back.

re'"I think that we've been too quiet" in the market place, Richard said. "I'm tired of being pushed around.""

I wish that attitude would filter down from top to bottom at AMD.

What a joke. Richard is a classless act. Maybe he should talk about his car more?

Allow me to correct some of the quotations:

"AMD's part, expected in Q307, offers a 42% advantage over Intel's Q406 product in one fp benchmark for a 4S system that AMD has managed to cook up. Richard became agitated and stormed out of the room when asked how Barcelona would compare to products Intel would be shipping in H207. Prior to that, he refused to be specific about the benchmarks to which he was referring."

*Early-May* for the R600?!?

"Richard lied that he delayed the product in order to simultaneously ship lower-end products with it, but no one seriously believes his bullshit excuse for the delay forced upon him."
