Name one thing Reagan did to "end the Soviet Union". The MX Missile Program? OK, that madness scared the old hardliner generals from the Cold War because ntheir military budgets were stretched very thin, but once Gorby got in those old hardliners got thrown out anyway. Also by then, most of the world was demanding an end to the nuclear madness on both sides. Those were the liberals leading the charge to end the insane Cold War and all its lies, paranoia and huge wasteful defense spending. The Soviet peoples wanted their freedom and they made sure they got it. They didn't care who the US president was.
