Exactly. Also, worshipping politicians and trying to make them super-human while demonizing their political opposition is the mark of someone who secretly desires a dictatorship. I'll bet Bill fantasizes about a USA where a Bush or Reagan type has total power. Sort of like Nazi Germany. The problem with Reagan wasn't Reagan, it was the bunch of crooks and liars who worked under him. This really comes down to whether rightwing policies actually work. They will never admit it, but Bush Sr. was right about trickle-down "voodoo economics", and looking back the whole Cold War, Vietnam, Contras and nuclear arms race seems not just dishonest, but insane. As does Iraq now. But these are the dreams of the rightwing war hawk extremists. That's why people like Kerry are such a threat to them. Kerry's war heroism unmasks them as phonies.
