The Mafia are less risky, since they are doing it for the money and generally stick to killing each other and honest judges who get in their way.

If wishes can be turned into reality, terrorists would be much more dangerous.

It is much easier for the Mafia to recruit junkies, bookies, and prostitutes than terrorists can recruit suicide bombers. Having said that, I don't want to minimize the danger they pose.

I just think we can contain terrorism much more effectively if we fight them more intelligently. Fighting them as if we were fighting the Soviet Union (when it was in existence) is not effective.

If we put more resources into fighting crime in general and we treated them as common criminals (Mafia, organised criminals, juvenile gangs, serial killers, Timothy McVeigh types) we would be safer.
