Absolutely they did. They backed his opponent 100% and we were all very disappointed when Jefferson somehow won. But voters can vote in anyone they want. That's a democracy.

By the way, we now have a VP guilty of treason for outing a CIA agent during war-time, Bush's righthand man Rove guilty of fraudulently stealing two elections (at least), we haven't heard about Bill Frist's insider trading investigation and we haven't yet seen Tom Delay put in prison. The law moves way too slowly in this country. All of those Bushie leaders ought to be where they belong, in the slammer. Even if Jefferson stole $90,000 in cash the Bushie crimes are 1000 times bigger.
