re: Having said that, I agree with Tim....I looked ahead at his post.........the military is not threatening to take over but rather retiring. That's a much less threatening situation. I'm against the policy as much as anyone... and would like to see the war end as much as anyone. But I like to see the military in it's traditional role of not making ANY political or value judgements, just doing what it's told by the elected civilians. I understand your concern but the military is not made up of automatons devoid of feelings and opinions as much as we would like them to be. Having said that, voicing their complaints is unusual and may speak to how badly off course we are.
