'Disappearing honeybees imperil crops, keepers
Harvesters in 24 states report hive population rates have mysteriously fallen 30% to 70%.'

When I saw that story in the news- I thought this was more than just another passing newsbyte.

Didn't we just have a big freeze in California? And wouldn't that put a crimp on the bee food supply?

I haven't been following the story, but heard we lost up to 70% of our citrus and other crops a few days/weeks back.

Produce prices have been sky high lately.
