Gore uses new green energy systems which cost extra. He puts his money where his mouth is. Now the challenge for us as a society is to bring down the cost of these solar energy systems so they are even cheaper than the power grid. For now they cost extra, which is why Gore's home costs more to run. Simple enough for you, skid mark? And look, even if Gore were guilty of burning ten times as much energy as you and me flying around the world to teach green energy useage and conservation, he's worth it. Meanwhile Bush-cheney are real villains on energy and the environment, criminals really. Lying puppets of the big pollutors and gas gougers who have cost us all so dearly.
