Louis, good points you make. I guess something to ponder is that if brokerage firms will be paid for the quotes they generate as well as quotes that are transacted upon. We could see the volume and rapidity of quotes generated go through the roof. If there is a huge surge in quote generated it would be unfortunate if it clogged the system, created delays or breakdowns.

Hopefully that will not be the case. I have no special insights into this change over at all. obviously there is some concern this week regarding Tuesday afternoon's order backup that resulted in the DJIA dropping 200 point within a minute. I have talked to a few people that said it was really surprising to them when it happened. I personally felt there were some Air pockets showing up that reminded me of April 4th of 2000, or Oct. 19th 1987.
