Rightwing Myth #6: The media is "liberal". In fact, there is only one totally partisan major news network and that is Fox and everything else Rupert Murdoch owns, and that is operated like a wing of the neocon rightwing propaganda machine. In the past two weeks Fox News put out three totally inaccurate smears against Obama, Hillary and Gore. However you never see them criticizing Bush in any way. The rightwing also bought up radio. They control 95% of it. It is still very difficult for radio listeners to hear anything but rightwing talking point propaganda parroted every day, even in liberal cities like LA.
