All this effort to discredit Doug's credibility, yet none spent to evaluate the credibility of AMD's claims.

AMD's claims lack the specificity required to evaluate them. The prudent response would be to treat them with suspicion.

Doug's messages in which he makes things up out of thin air, on the other hand, can be discredited instantly.

Tenchusatsu,

All this effort to discredit Doug's credibility, yet none spent to evaluate the credibility of AMD's claims.

How exactly do you propose we do that prior to the release of the product?

Joe

AMD is only claiming 10% in SPECint. Not exactly "blowing out of the water" for the desktop market. I don't believe any of the comments by AMD execs have addressed anything other than Opteron

Anything less [than blowing Intel out of the water], and that'll be yet another confirmation that the AMD execs are full of it.
